Tiny House Auction Charity | Apartment Therapy

If you’ve been waffling on whether to join the tiny house trend, then this might be the push you need. Not only is this cute 250 square-foot living space going to be auctioned off, but the proceeds are going to a good cause.

Students at Henry Ford College in Michigan designed, built, and donated the 24-foot by 8.5-foot trailer mounted space to raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, which will get 100 percent of the proceeds. The auction, which is being handled by Re/Max, goes live on Thursday, July 26.

The Craftsman-inspired small space is finished with a lofted bed, bay window, bamboo floors, butcher block counters, a farmhouse sink, copper fixtures, an all in one washer dryer, and a four burner stove.

Anyone in the contiguous 48 states over the age of 18 can participate in the auction, though it should be noted that the home does not come with the furniture and decor, nor land to park the home.

You can find out more, including all the property specs and how to register to bid, over on tinyhometinytots.com.
